Holocaust survivor

On Thursday, March 8 from 11:30am-1:00pm, Max Glauben – a Holocaust survivor – will discuss his experience and how that relates to us today. You can attend in person at the South Campus or join by WebEx.

The highest attendance event that CVI has ever sponsored was a presentation by a husband and wife who survived the Holocaust. Because of the positive feedback from that event, we are co-sponsoring the presentation on March 8 by another Holocaust survivor.

We hope you will be able to join us at this rare opportunity to hear a Holocaust survivor.

If you are able to attend, please open the attachment and click on "Close & Save" to place an appointment for this event in your calendar.

Please see additional details at the following link:

Best regards,

The Stages of our faith

Hi everyone. Ok, hang in there and don't worry if you have missed some sessions on our Faith series, stay with us!

Today we reviewed the third Video that we watched last week and attached is a short flyer on those basic principles that we got out of the video, here it is in a nut shell (below), and if you want to watch the videos, they can be viewed at:http://www.intouch.org/. Or there are also shorter audio versions on this Faith series as well. It only has 6 parts so we are half way through.

Part 3: The Stages of our faith

Throughout Scripture, it has been

made evident that God honors faith.

Our wholehearted belief in the Lord is important

because, when we truly place our trust in Him,

the Savior is glorified.

Why We Struggle With Our Faith

Human Reason

Living by Sight

Surrendering to Our Feelings

Negative Counsel From Others

- Feelings of Guilt

Neglecting the Word of God

Continuing in Sin

Satan's Tactics.

The Stages of Our Faith

Little or restless faith

Great or maturing faith

Perfect or resting faith

What to do to move towards the Perfect or Resting Faith:

Perfect faith is the Father's goal for each of

His children, but it does not occur overnight.

You must read God's Word, make sure your

heart is clean, and surrender your life to Him

completely—trusting that He has the most

wonderful plan for your life. Are you willing?

Remember, God will honor your faith and give

you life at its very best. Therefore, thank the Lord

in every circumstance and praise Him that His

promises are already accomplished. This is the

surest way to have your faith perfected.

See what God has in store for you by giving him those things you want him to handle and have Faith, sit back and watch, then thank him!
