A Verse for the day
Hello folks,
I get daily verses from the Joel Osteen website. There are some days I am pretty sure that God is sending me a verse via Joel based on how I am feeling that day and today is one of them. I do need reminders via anyway that they come that he (God) is in my ball park each and every day and rooting for me and I know that he is in yours rooting for you everyday as well. Enjoy
How precious are Your thoughts about me, O God. They cannot be numbered! I can't even count them; they outnumber the grains of sand!"
(Psalm 139:17-18, NLT)
TODAY'S Study from Joel & Victoria Osteen
Did you know God is thinking about you right now? He thinks about you constantly. You are always on His mind. Do you know what He's thinking? He's not thinking about all that you've done wrong in your life. No, He's thinking about the good things He has in store for your future. Jeremiah 29:11 tells us that His thoughts are for our good. His plans are to prosper us and give us a future and a hope.
Do you know what else He's thinking? He's thinking about how much He loves you. He's not mad at you; He's madly in love with you! Let that love bring security to your heart and mind. Just take a deep breath right now and breathe in His love and peace. The Bible says that perfect love casts out all fear. When you receive His love, it drives out fear and gives you confidence to embrace the good things He has in store for you.
A PRAYER FOR TODAY
Father God, thank You for thinking of me today. Thank You for loving me and for doing a work in my life. I receive Your love which drives out all fear. Make me new as I meditate on You. In Jesus' Name. Amen
Thanks and Best Regards,
Celeste McBride

Re: Things not going well? Here's a "Verse of the Day."
It was just a few minutes ago, on my way to work I prayed and asked God
"Father, why am I so funless? Is this how you created me, or ...?"
I find myself rejoicing in Him often these days and feel His joy
abundant in me, yet I show no emotion of it outwardly... and I was
becoming more and more self-aware that I might just appear quite dull in
my witnessing of His joy in me... so this verse really helped :)
Yet, I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation!

Things not going well? Here's a "Verse of the Day."
Not that there has to be a “Verse of the Day” every day, but I ran across this the other day and thought somebody might like it.
Habakkuk 3:17-18
17Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls:
18Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation.
Sometimes “Rejoicing” and “Joy” are decisions rather than emotions. Habakkuk is talking about a “No Matter What” kind of commitment here. Verse 17 is full of things that are commonly used as symbols throughout the Bible, but were common in the culture of the day, and I am sure that they are meant literally this time. By the way, this is from the King James Version, or the Original Language as I like to call it.

Hi Georg,
Here's a special invitation to get the Diversity Team involved in our Valentine's Day potluck on Friday.
This potluck is a little different in that people are only asked to bring a simple side dish or dessert. The Employee Relations Team will be providing the main dishes (lasagna, meatballs and sauce, Raviolis), rolls and drinks. We'd love to have a big turnout and appreciate as many people joining in on the fun as possible
Please RSVP to Norma Alvarez by email by COB today.
Have a great day!
Pattie
